I also get anxiety attacks, somedays are better than others, I can tell you I have found that just talking to someone, like if your at the store or driving, call someone, don't let yourself fall into it, tell yourself that your fine and ask why the heck your freaking out, it usually calms you down, and I take calms forte (all natural) you can get at all natural store, even walgreens, its like a calming thing, non addictive.
this may sound silly but if its really bad put your index finger in your belly button, and push, its regulates your breathing pattern, so your focused on breathing slower, calms your adrenaline and stops the panicky felling, it works for me.
good luck to you, don't feel helpless, i have had this from when i was about 14 and now i'm 28, sometimes i feel like all the world is looking at me when it happens, but you need to learn that your ok, your not going to die, no one ever has from one of these ok.
take care | |

Best Answer So far: Answered by: Babeheart - 23 Months Ago. At this age, you can do a lot to help her. Just be glad you have the opportunity to make her a better person. By the time she becomes a teenager, it would be hopeless.
You have to use stern language, because at 2 she understands what you want, she's just refusing to cooperate. Use stern language with patience. She knows when you've lost it, and that's really the reaction she wants.
Now you have to be able to back your words with action. You can physically restrain your child without ever hitting her. What you should never do is to allow her to disrespect you in any way.
You have to pick your battles, which at 2 years old can be many places. Don't spoil her by letting her have her way, whether at the dinner table or shopping mall. Play with her, read to her, whatever. And when she acts up, use your words, then use physical restraint.
If you have older children, get them to help you out. Easier said than done, but again, respect is key.

 | Is frivolous spending really the best thing for the economy? | 1 | |

Best Answer So far: Answered by: Babeheart - 23 Months Ago. Economic activity, simply, is the sum of human activities.
For advanced industrialized economies, most activities are beyond what people need, beyond the food and shelter variety. People buy cars not just to get around, for comfort, music, or whatever. People pay to watch arts, dance, music, or to wear beautiful shoes or clothing.
When the economy goes into recession, or depression, people don't spend on those "extra" things. People stay with the basics, and if everybody does that, most people become unemployed.
We assume that being wasteful is bad. That's true, especially in non-renewable activity, such as burning fossil fuels, or worse, causing global warming.
But as long as we're not causing harm, any activity is good. Who are we to really judge what is frivolous? Frivolous is hard to define.
"Consume" is such a harsh word. When the economy works well, "Appreciate" might be a better word. We appreciate all that is being produced, so we pay for them. And that's good for the economy. | |

 | How does the federal reserve create money? | 1 | |

Best Answer So far: Answered by: shshao - 18 Months Ago. The Federal Reserve can print money, in the form of currency bills and coins. But that's a very small part of the story.
Economic activity is measured by the movement of money. That movement of money depends on the availability of money, in the form of loans or savings. That's the Money Supply.
The Federal Reserve in the US controls Money Supply and Interest Rates. Both methods are intended to control private bank behavior, which in turn controls economic activity. As while private banks want to lend as much as possible, they can only lend up to their limit as their cash reserves dictate.
The mechanism used by the Fed to create money is by purchasing government securities, those issued by US Treasury and held by private banks. The cash in the hands of the private banks is additionally leveraged by the reserve ratio, resulting in money created.
How were these private banks able to buy the government securities in the first place? Again, based on the reserve ratio, deposits made by others is leveraged into much larger purchasing power.

 | Im 24, he's 37... and I'm unsure how to go about this one? | 2 | |

I have the BIGGEST crush on this guy, and I've set my sights on him. The only hold back is, I'm afraid that HE would have a problem with the age difference, I'm not sure if he's interested, and also we never see each other in person but everyonce in a while, when he stops by my office. We mainly communicate via email or phone. Yesterday he came by the office to check in, and I felt like you could cut the sexual tension with a knife. Then he comes around to see something on my computer, and he brushes up against my arm, and he apologizes... I tell him that it was ok, so he puts his hand on my arm again and doesn't move it. What do you think? Also how to I drop a subtle hit to him via email that I'm interested? |
