The Diameter of a 15" car tire is actually about 25", because the 15" diameter measures the rims, not including the rubber portion.
So the Circumference of the rubber hitting the road is 78 inches.
Since there's 63,360 inches in a mile, it has rotated 807 times in a mile.
60 miles per hour is the same as 60 miles per 60 minutes. Therefore: 60 / 60 = 1 MPM - 1 mile per minute.
So the rotational speed for the tire is 807 RPM.
