Every place on earth has unique characteristics that makes a place similar or different to other places.

Physical features including terrain and climate, promximity to mountains and water, fertility of land. Animals and plants that naturally exist in the area.

Human features are what we've built, including the various types of homes and shops. Human features are often built to conform with the natural physical features. For example, ski resorts near mountains, and boats near water.
